The folks over on the seti project made it mandatory to upgrade to the 4.09 boinc client to get new wus. This upgrade hosed my currently active CP model. The new client downloaded a new model, but all of the files from the old model still seem to be on my machine minus the data that tells the boinc client that it is there. Unfortunately, I didn't make a copy of the boinc directory before I upgraded. I wrongly assumed that since the upgrade was required, the installer should be fairly safe. Is there a way to allow the partially completed wu to complete? If not, which files are safe to delete so I can recover the space consumed by the damaged wu but not mess up my currently executing wu? |

Unfortunately there's no way you can recover a model without a backup. You can safely delete the model's directory, xml file and zip file from the boinc/projects/climateprediction.net directory. <br><a href="http://www.teampicard.net"><img src="http://www.teampicard.net/templates/fisubice/images/phpbb2_logo.jpg"></a><a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_display.php?teamid=3">Join us here</a> |
