Hello,

boinc doesn´t start the computation of the modell, altough the status is running.

I use NT4.0 and Boinc 4.02

Click the Projects tab, right-click on the climate... project, select Update. I don't know if this is the definitive answer but it worked for me

Cheers,

I'm going to look into Windows 98, ME, and NT4 today to make sure they run CPDN/BOINC!

ClimatePrediction@home doesn't support WinNT 4.0!

=> I had the same problem - however, someone told me, it's not running under NT4.0 :(

Sounds to me like you've probably been hit by a download failure, Aries. If so you'll probably see an "MD5 checksum error" message for at least one of the hadsm3* files, and you'll need to do a project reset to retry the download. Have a look at this thread for details.

The handling of download failures has been raised with the BOINC development team.

Hi

might be possible. I noticed some checksum errors earlier. But I tried to reset the project...no it says:

climateprediction.net - 2004-08-28 15:35:44 - Message from server: No work available (daily quota exceeded)

Will try again tomorrow - so far its SETI instead of CP ;)

Ah, yes. Carl set a daily download limit of 4 work units per machine after somebody managed to eat up 5,000 during the beta test ;)

I fixed my firewall problem yesterday and am still getting the 'daily quota exceeded'. What's it take to reset this? What are the timing rules... 24 hours from when?
