Just completed my first full run with 4.03. :) Now I see the core is up to 4.04. Can anyone tell me, or point me to, what changed in 4.04? |

Main improvement was the Win98/98SE/ME support that they added (although I still consider CPDN or rather BOINC too buggy to run on Win9x, was seeing lots of Fortran errors originating from the V4.04 CPDN Client and other odd behaviour originating from BOINC V4.13). I've also heard that they supposedly added better optimizations for AMD AthlonXP type CPU's, but I can't nail that down to any official Posting. ___________________________________________
Scientific Network : 36200 MHz «» 8460 MB «» 776.6 GB
|
