I've just had a problem with a model that was 97% completed. As BOINC tried to connect to the server, via dial-up, I had an incoming call - and things went a bit haywire. I ended up with a reset xml file and a model at 0.0% completed but a CPU time of 607 hours :-(

BOINC has now started a brand new model so I'm left with the remnants of the aborted model in it's folder. Anyone know if there is any _safe_ way of restating the model using the information in the folder or should I just write it off.

the client_state.xml file is similar to the windows registry.
It holds a lot of critical data. Loss or corruption would result
in an unrecoverable model state.
