Hi there,
I have a Laptop with a pentium 4 2.8 ghz mobile CPU... I have seen that people with the same CPU, just not mobile, are able to crunch way more work than I do. Does any one know if that is because mine is a mobile CPU, and does anyone know if it's possible for me to get it crunch a little faster?

Cheers,
Bent

typically mobile processors have a slower front side bus..and a lot of times slower ram...this can definitly effect speed. also check your bios and try turning off the speedstep'n. that way you're cpu will run at full speed all the time

As far as I know most P4M cpus do not have hyperthreading, the stats do not show how much the system is overclocked. Performance depends on the chipset as well.
These could make up for the difference in your stats.
