What's happening? Protein Predictor has v. 4.17, Einstein has 4.18 out, SETi and CPDN still have 4.13, LHC still has v. 4.09...
I am going to stick to 4.13 until my current model is over, which shouldn't be long now... and then? To which version shall I upgrade, if things won't have changed once more in the meanwhile?

I've got 3 machines running CPDN only, all with v. 4.13. I've no problems at all, all are stable under that version and since it is still the CPDN 'official' version, I'm adopting the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy.

Hi, atotos.
You have to upgrade only if you do Einstein@home or Predictor (I'm not sure for this one), because 4.13 is sending errors on E@H Wus
If you're only on CPDN or Seti, you can stay on 4.13.

Versions > 4.13 are not public version.
On download site, it is clear that >4.13 are "Development versions (latest features, possibly buggy)" and people who are not "computer geek" or don't want to bother doing all these upgrades should wait for the next official public release of BOINC.

I'm on 4.18 since this morning and CPDN, Seti, E@H are running fine.
Cheers...

Thank you Arnaud. I backed up and upgraded to 4.17 which is what Predictor asks us to do. The upgrade has gone well and my model has restarted where it had left off, at 82.34%
