Hi!

I have a little program for you:

Windows: www.oliver-kliebisch.de/setup.exe
Linux/Mac(untested): www.oliver-kliebisch.de/CPDNSpy.rar

It has multilanguage support. currently it includes 3 languages: German, English, Dutch

You can send me furtehr to my e-mail. ust translate the phrases in the language.txt

Here are the 3 translations(they are already incldued in the windows package):

www.oliver-kliebisch.de/german.txt
www.oliver-kliebisch.de/english.txt
www.oliver-kliebisch.de/dutch.txt

After the installation of the program, it\'ll aske you after the CPDN WU XML. You find that normally
in boinc\\projects\\climateprediction.net\\xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xml
I you have more than one WU link to the newest XML file. You have to change that file every time, a WU has finished. I hope i can remove this procedure next version with a new boinc client, when the client_state.xml works

Have fun!

Thanks for that Oliver. Looks great ;-)

Just one slight problem with the installation. I selected English translation and during the install it prompted for overwrite of language.txt. I let it do that and all the text was Dutch. Re-installed, cancelled the overwrite and everything was fine.

Good!

One addition: If you wonder, that the seconds/Timestep aren't equal to the ones shown in Boinc: CPDNSpy shows you actual performance. Not the overall performance!

Message 861 - Posted: 12 Aug 2004, 20:19:06 UTC

I just get a blank window that says CPDNSpy 1.3.0 in the header. Then after a few seconds, another blank window pops up that only says "input". After closing the "input" box, three smaller also blank "input" boxes pop up.

I tried to enter the text I thought was relevent from looking at the .txt file, but I'm not quite sure if I entered the right info in the right boxes due to lack of anything but a text input window that says "input"

Any thoughts?

Win XP Pro, SP1.

Thanks!

If you go to the settings tab you can enter the data that the program requires.

Thanks, but I have no tabs. The window is blank. Meaning, nothing in it at all. Simply an empty window with a header.

Yes, I have the correct language file. Even if I didn't, I would expect to see <i>something</i> in the window. Most likely a language I couldn't read.

Thanks!

Hmm... which Java Version do you have???? You need an original Java JRE or JSDK. You can get it here: www.java.sun.com

So... some people asked me for some new features and here there are some of them:

<b>CPDNSpy 1.3.1</b>

Changes:
-some layout changes
-new benchmark. I'm now usign the same algothem like the boinc client.
-If you move the mouse over the tray icon you can see now the progress and the
s/Ts as hover display
-added creation time on user and team page
-added total active users, teams and computers
-you now only need to tell your boinc directory

The links are the same as version 1.3.0:
<b>IMPORTANT: Please uninstall the old evrsion before you install the new version!!!</b>

<a href="http://www.oliver-kliebisch.de/setup.exe">Windows Version</a>
<a href="http://www.oliver-kliebisch.de/CPDNSpy.rar">linux/Mac Version</a>

The translation are also the same. But currently there is no dutch translation.

You missed the http:// off the links, Oliver, so the cpdnboinc path was added to the front. Corrected ones are below.

I have J2SE 1.4.1_02. It's fairly current, as the latest release is 1.4.2. (not including beta v5.0)

Is this version not adequate?

Thanks!

The new version simply crashes my system. I get a faulting module error at address 0x0002edb4.

I'm just going to give up on it because Martin made CPview able to work without the CPDN classic client installed, but thanks for your efforts! :-)
