Yesterday i had 2 wu's fail within 5 minutes of each other. Sent the results in and recieved around 5000 credits for them. Looking at my credits today i see that my RAC is up over 1000 because of this, but those credits are no longer added to my account. Why were they received then taken back? Any clues?

CPDN assigns credits on receiving the trickle uploads from your systems and shouldn't assign any credit when the final result is uploaded. But there is an unresolved server side bug that occasionally does just that. There's a temporary work around in place that requires all credits to be recalculated periodically (I think it's every 4 hours), so in the interim you can have some extra credits. The recalculation can only be done for total credits - the RAC boost wil decline at the standard rate.

It is weird, though. I had over 21,700 credits yesterday and today I have 18.317. Just feels like "hey, where have all those credits gone?" :-(

Look at my BOINC Synergy stats (click on the link, find mavau and click on the chart symbol on the right) and you'll see a couple weird peaks.
They're double credits on model completion.
Synergy only updates once a day, so I don't get them every time.
