With the phpBB forum down for a long time, I just thought I'd bring up a reminder of this post from Martin Sykes back in August about how you can do some nice things like make hyperlinks active, and embed pictures in your post. Also, when composing a message, there is a May contain HTML tags link that shows how to bold and italicize text quite easily. I know some of you know this already, but for some of the you who don't, this can make posts a little more readable and user-friendly. |

Hi geophi, from Lorvija's post: You may want to add target="_blank" just for other readers convinience so it opens it to new window instead of existing one. so if you had the html for "May contain HTML tags" (edit I can't make it write the html it just keeps putting the link in....) where would you put the target="_blank" to make it open in another window? Thanks Marj _________________________________ |

It should be as simple as described here. |

I just discovered that there is an option in the forum preferences to open links in a new window. Tried and it works. Marj _________________________________ |
