Yesterday it was running fine. Today I rebooted and now it will not start. I rebooted a 2nd time with similar results.

I'm on WinXP Pro SP2 Workstation with heaps of RAM.

BOINC version 4.13.
STDOUT.TXT looks normal.
STDERR.TXT is empty.

Unless anybody has any better ideas, I would reinstall BOINC. I suggest getting ver 4.19 <a href="http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php">here</a>. Install over the top of the current version. You should be able to carry on where you left off.

Message 8295 - Posted: 1 Feb 2005, 0:27:19 UTC - in response to Message 8260.

I installed v4.19 with the same same results.

Running the "boinc_cli.exe" client at the command prompt generates 1 more line than is in STDOUT.TXT, that never appears in STDERR.TXT:

gstate.init() failed: 1

I read about his on a SETI BOINC board and determnined in a roundabout way that my tag was corrupted in "account_.xml". I reset the URL and it works like a charm.
