I've been getting messages like these since I had to reinstall. I started with the 4.19 download and had the problems, then switched to my (previously working flawlessly) compiled 4.66. If it were just my compile messing up I'd understand, but it started after I had to re-install after a hd crash and re-attach to all my accts. The problem was there with the release 4.19. Similar problems with seti, and lhc. Einstein is working fine.

BOINC development version 4.66 (and the 4.2* releases) require a file signature for all downloaded program files. The server side of CPDN hasn't been rebuilt with the new BOINC source, so it is only sending a signature for the exe file. BOINC is rejecting the 3 zip files because of this.

I'm afraid you'll have to revert to using 4.19 until the server has been updated if you want to continue running CPDN.

I'm having almost the same problem. Got a new system (Athlon64/Windows x64), installed 4.23, and tried to reattach to the projects (CPDN, SETI, Predictor, Einstein), but Einstein is the only one that doesn't produce the above errors. Does anyone know how long it will be before the servers (or BOINC) are updated as required? I like 4.23 and would prefer to keep using it.

I didn't checked out v4.23 yet. I'm always using v4.19. Can you tell why you would prefer 4.23? Are there new features? Or why?

On any new version 'till now I didn't found any new features. I updated cause it was mentioned by the sheduler. The only changed setting I recognized 'till v4.19 was the new handling of backing work on hosts.

4.24 (now out) like 4.23 are "DEVELOPMENTAL".

People that use these versions are effectively Beta-testing "relatively" stable releases. Problems like these digital signatures come up... and will be addressed but not always overnight.

Simple thing is if you DONT want the hassle keep using your stable platform UNTIL on news boards a OFFICIAL release is made (non developmental).

No major new features. There's a side bar that gives you available options for whatever tab is open or line is selected, and some message lines are displayed in red (been seeing lots of red trying to get this sorted out). I'm hardly committed to it. 4.19 is just fine. On the other hand, I'm probably fine to run just Einstein for a while as long as I know this problem is going to get fixed eventually. I know that these are developmental and "possibly buggy," so I'm not complaining.
