I had to reset my pc last night, and after rebooting it, all my work of several BOINC's projects were gone, thought the files were still on the disk (I went to the directories of each project and there were files there!).
How can I recover the on going work? What has happened?
W XP, all BOINC sw updated to each project:
Pirates@home, seti@home,climateprediction, lhc@home, einstein@home,proteinpredictor@home, pirates@home
Thanks.

The cause might be listed in any of the files in the BOINC folder: stdout.txt, stderr.txt, stdout.old, stderr.old. I suggest you back them up (alog with, say, client state XMLs) before re-running BOINC.
What does the BOINC client say? Has it reseted the projects? If so, there's probably not much to do... Except learn from the experience and backup the entire BOINC folder regularly (I know, it happened to me, too)
