Running on a Linux Dual Xeon model, and running version 4.19, I can't get beyond phase 1.

See http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=699342 and http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=679050 for examples.

Is this a known issue?

Following up on myself... it appears to be a known issue and a newer version is available. This begs the question though... why does the download page still show 4.19 as the latest version if it has this problem?

The newer version than 4.19 is of the BOINC program which should *not* be causing any such crashes. The latest CPDN executables for Linux are now 4.13. There were problems with 4.10-4.12 CPDN in Linux. Hopefully 4.13 has solved that, but I'm not far enough into my 4.13 runs to know for sure.
