I joined CPDN 19/3/05. After about a week I realised that all the projects had to have the same email address and changed them. SETI, Einstein & ProteinPredictor all synched soon after but still waiting for CPDN.

See <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2266">this</a> and other posts. It seems to have affected a number of people in various ways.

I'd seen those posts and as far as I can make out the answer is that they should synch up in time. Two weeks and counting does seem excessive though.

I also joined about 2+ weeks ago and am still waiting for CPDN to line up. Yes my emails have been the same for all projects (SETI/CPDN). Curiously, I decided to also join Einstein (3 days ago) and the cpid matched the SETI cpid immediately. Oh well, it doesn't matter to much, I'm in this for the long haul, maybe in 3 years time they all might be in synch.

Well, I'm crunching CPDN for 7 months now and CPDN CPID is still different from other projects but it doesn't affect the credits nor the sigs.

Could it just be displaying incorrectly on the CPDN account page? My CPID shows something different on CPDN's account page than what I have on other projects, but on the <a href="http://www.boincstats.com">BOINCstats</a> website if I search for my username, all of my projects show up correctly. If I open a detailed view on my CPDN stats, it shows the same CPID as all the other projects.

It's because CPDN is using old BOINC server-side code as stated <a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2266">here</a>, and as Andrew correctly pointed out.

From the thread:

CPDN is still using an older server software/code that showed the internal CPID instead of the CPID sent to the stats sites.

There is a way to fix it, see href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2469"&gt;here

I followed solution 2 and all projects are now in sink.

Good luck
