at home i get this messages when i want to suspend cpdn project or workunits: 23/04/2005 00:57:24|climateprediction.net|Can't suspend non-CPU-intensive project 23/04/2005 00:57:32|climateprediction.net|Can't suspend non-CPU-intensive result this appears also to burp and pirates. i have crashcollection and resource measurement running, these projects are known to be non-CPU-intensive, means they run in background all time, not within the resource share. might these projects be my problem? like they carry over these non-CPU-intensive status to other projects/workunits? i hope you can help me with that... It's most likely a server side configuration setting that flags a project non_cpu_intensive. The server sends this information to your PC in the sched_reply. You can check if it's in a CPDN reply. If it's there, it's not the fault of those other 2 projects. So the reaction of your PC would correct, question is, if the server side project configuration is correct too in those cases. If it's not in the sched_reply of CPDN, something got messy, probably from the 2 projects CC and/or RM. |

I do not see the 'non_cpu_intensive' flag in the CPDN section of my client_state.xml file. So it is likely bleed over from the other projects. That's likely to be another fun one to track down. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
