Well now all the XML files are empty or completely malformed... I hope this means someone is working on it? :) I hear tolu is supposedly back as of today but probably swamped with email and backlogged problems :/

This thread is not about the no credit problem. The problem with the XML files is completely seperate and was happening long before the credits stopped flowing. There are a couple of other threads about the no credit problem. Lets try not to confuse the admins TOO much and keep seperate problems in seperate threads :)

Bump. The XML is still messed up! I see other problems are being solved... Can someone PLEASE look at the XML? Right now there have been no updates for over 5 days.

Who really cares Toby, in the grand scheme of CP.. The basic system seems to have some big problems in general (and specifically over the last 5 days) and your stats are probably at the bottom of the list (and probably should be!). XML Stats can't be right until individual user stats (on their acct info link) seem to be correct, and this seems like a logicial conclusion to me...

Why don't you dig into the stats code yourself and provide a fix to the developers? :-)

Someone that bumps a post as they don't feel they're getting the attention they want does remind me of a kid in the back seat asking "are we there yet?" on a too frequent basis! :-(

Let them fix the basic issues, as I feel they will, and then worry about your xml stuff..

Uh... I have. There are several patches in db_dump that were written by me or by Dr. Anderson after I found a problem, researched it as far as I could without access to the database and brought it to his attention. As I stated above, I believe the current host problem has actually been fixed in the latest version.

Don't think a once per week post counts as being QUITE that annoying...

Toby. But should your XML bugs be of a higher priority than geting CP to work in general? Should CP update server code for you when there seems to be much bigger "fish to fry"?

It is if you work with Dr Anderson on bug fixes and could just email him! "Hey, Dave.. You got the CP folks to install our fixes in the server code yet?"

Hey, All I know is I'm missing a bunch of credit and trickles, and have been getting errors off the servers all day "master file fetch failed". To me, it doesn't seem that the basic stuff is back in one piece, and other posters here seem to indicate the same thing... You should sit quietly in the back seat until that happens before you ask "are we there yet" again! :-)

It seemed to me that Toby provided a good answer to your question: It appeared that sufficient progress had been made to turn towards the XML. Unfortunately it turned out that this wasn't the case.

Your repetition of the dealt with point while at the same time asking about the progress indicator and time to completion fix makes me think your comments would be better directed to yourself.

Well all squabbling aside, it seems the XML has been fixed. I have seen a couple updates today and the hosts file appears to be complete and well-formed. Yay! Thanks to the CP.net team.
