Hi
Because I was having problems with ver 4.19 of BOINC (every time I shut my machine down Climate control went ga-ga and told me I was very bad etc etc) I installed 4.45. Now it\'s got worse!
The unit I was working on hit the skids, and the next one, and the next one! Message is:
26/06/2005 17:46:34|climateprediction.net|Unrecoverable error for result 0uww_100060489_0 ( - exit code -5 (0xfffffffb))

Urgh!

Now it\'s telling me

Which is bollox, if the switching routine between projects is working.

Einstein seems fine with 4.45...

Any theories?

Your problems seem to have started 19th June. I seem to remember the weather got hotter in the UK on about the 18th. Could it be heat related instability?

Bob
Have you read <a href="http://boinc.berkeley.edu/sched.php"> this</a> page about scheduling?

When you turn your machine off, are you suspending the model and exiting before you switch off? And giving it plenty of time to do this? Boinc cpdn doesn't like being sent to bed too quickly.

I do a simple "File - Exit" wait for the Blue B to go away and all my other stuff to shut, then "Start - Shutdown". Apart,of course, when the old mule freezes, at which point a thourgh Booting is administered!

Regards
