I had trouble fetching whatever those things were for a while. It's fixed as of 8 hours ago or so when I checked it. I don't know if it has anything to do with Windows XP. Michael "http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?id=2922" |

By the way, does anyone know how to append the BOINC status listing to a post? I asked once and was given a suggestion to check a website--which no longer contained the desired information. Each time I try a guess of what it might be, it doesn't work. Thanks. Michael |

From messages tab, BOINC 4.25 Left pane, copy to clipboard. In my message, ctrl-v, I get this: 25-Jun-05 14:09:40||Starting BOINC client version 4.25 for windows_intelx86 25-Jun-05 14:09:40|climateprediction.net|Host location: home 25-Jun-05 14:09:40|climateprediction.net|Using your default project prefs 25-Jun-05 14:09:40|climateprediction.net|Host ID is 139749 25-Jun-05 14:09:40||General prefs: from unknown project http://climateprediction.net/ (last modified 2004-11-13 13:31:10) 25-Jun-05 14:09:40||General prefs: using your defaults 25-Jun-05 14:09:41|climateprediction.net|Resuming computation for result 0krk_100047206_0 using hadsm3 version 4.12 25-Jun-05 14:09:42|climateprediction.net|Resuming computation for result 49fr_000299127_0 using hadsm3 version 4.12 25-Jun-05 14:09:42||Suspending network activity - user request 25-Jun-05 17:41:09||Resuming network activity 25-Jun-05 17:41:10|climateprediction.net|Sending request to scheduler: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 25-Jun-05 17:41:11|climateprediction.net|Scheduler RPC to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded 25-Jun-05 17:41:11|climateprediction.net|Host location: home 25-Jun-05 17:41:11|climateprediction.net|Using your default project prefs 25-Jun-05 17:41:25||Suspending network activity - user request 25-Jun-05 17:41:32|climateprediction.net|Master file fetch failed 25-Jun-05 17:41:32|climateprediction.net|Deferring communication with project for 1 minutes and 0 seconds 26-Jun-05 07:20:32||Resuming network activity 26-Jun-05 07:20:32|climateprediction.net|Sending request to scheduler: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 26-Jun-05 07:20:33|climateprediction.net|Scheduler RPC to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded 26-Jun-05 07:24:08||Suspending network activity - user request 26-Jun-05 14:57:54||Resuming network activity 26-Jun-05 14:57:55|climateprediction.net|Sending request to scheduler: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 26-Jun-05 14:57:56|climateprediction.net|Scheduler RPC to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded 26-Jun-05 14:58:11||Suspending network activity - user request 26-Jun-05 17:30:02||Running CPU benchmarks 26-Jun-05 17:30:02||Suspending computation and network activity - running CPU benchmarks 26-Jun-05 17:31:01||Benchmark results: 26-Jun-05 17:31:01|| Number of CPUs: 2 26-Jun-05 17:31:01|| 1385 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU 26-Jun-05 17:31:01|| 1737 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU 26-Jun-05 17:31:01||Finished CPU benchmarks 26-Jun-05 17:31:01||Resuming computation and network activity Some people have reported the master file fetch error. Mine happened after suspending network activity too soon, I guess. Normally nothing to worry about. When you want to save your messages, remember they get cleaned up on restart.
