Ok guys I have a P4 3.2Ghz w/ HT. Have completed a couple of WU\'s with an average of around 550 hours. Thats fine. However I just had a look in BoincManager and it says that the WU I am crunching at the moment has run for 134 hours, completing just .55% and the expected time to completion is 24440 hours! Wow. Interestingly BOINC isn\'t switching me into EDF mode to try and complete it.

Anyone have any idea whats going on?

It sounds like you've been hit with a model rewind. Under normal conditions there a 3 rewind attempts for most failure conditions (1 day, 1 month and 1 year), but occasionally a model will (for unknown reasons) rewind back to the start. The expected time to completion should drop fairly rapidly as you recalculate the work you've already done.
