Have a new Block now.Had 88 hours left on first block which I cannot find.Have I wasted 650 Hours of Climate Predicts time,and especially mine! Am still running winxp did not change to linux yet! Keep crunching new block and just want to know if I have done something or I wasted 650 hours Computer Time.Do not care about credit care about results! Sincerely Doug Worrall |

Hi Doug As you say your machine is now crunching a new model, it looks as if the previous one went down the pan, which is most unfortunate. When you turn off your machine you should suspend then exit the model first, giving the model plenty of time to do this. Otherwise the model can crash. I don't know whether this was your problem, it's just a possible idea. It's also a good idea to back up your current model from time to time so that if something goes wrong, you have some chance of restoring it. Commiserations.
