Sorry I don't know what happened to your model. There are some answers if you care to look for them eg http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=3076 Incomplete WU can be of use, but so far I am unsure whether anything got uploaded about that run. Can you provide any more information such as any error messages or other messages? _______________________________ Visit BOINC WIKI for help And join BOINC Synergy for all the news in one place. |

Your windows socket interface issue is discussed there. http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Failed_to_clean_up_Windows_socket_interface You don't give stats sites your account key, there is an account id you find in your profile under "other". You give them that number if you want to make one of those signature files that show your credits. Hope that helps. Pam |

I'm going from memory, but I seem to recall getting that error message when an instance is already running. Check task manager to see if another instance is running. |

Maybe that is the "other instance" of BOINC. I don't think your work unit is lost, but I don't understand why it doesn't show in your boinc manager. This problem sounds familiar and when it happened to me, I seem to recall I had a hard time killing all the Boinc processes in the task manager. It was like they wouldn't die and I just did a reboot. I think that fixed it and I don't think I hurt any work units. This was a while back, before 4.19. Pam |

There's one model with 0 trickles though, downloaded 11 Jul 2005 10:38, just when the last trickle of the phase3 model went to the server. |
