I also find that I download a new CP WU as phase 1 is finishing, even thought it won't be needed for quite some time... When might there be a 4.14 version of the cruncher which doesn't reset "% done" to zero for each phase? |

Yes (I had forgotten the scheduling & download aspect). Carl said he was doing a new version to deal with the ATI graphics issue. I am hoping it will also deal with this bug. _______________________________ Visit <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page">BOINC WIKI</a> for help And join <a href="http://www.boincsynergy.com/">BOINC Synergy</a> for all the news in one place. |

By way of an update the WU in phase 3 is now at 9.07 s/TS with a projected finsih in 81 days. It slowly looks more attractive. <img src="http://www.boincsynergy.com/images/stats/comb-1091.jpg"></img><br><img src="http://www.iantighe.com/setisig.jpg"></img><img border="0" src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/teamStats.php?userID=1602&prj=1&trans=off"> |

Anyone want to give Carl more details? See <a href="http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?p=28511#28511">this thread</a>. _______________________________ Visit <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page">BOINC WIKI</a> for help And join <a href="http://www.boincsynergy.com/">BOINC Synergy</a> for all the news in one place. |

Its my WU so I will try. I am using BOIC VIEW. I have copied the screen into a word pad file so if some one gives me an email addy I will send it. EDIT: OK I put it on my web site: www.iantighe.com/boincView.htm END EDIT: The % completed column was set back to zero at start of phase 3. Not culmulative. The CPU time used up to the point of phase 3 commencement was 15 days or so cannot remember exactly ....so this is culmulative. The projected completion date starts with the huge number as phase 3 commences - that is in the title of this thread.....is now 79 days etc etc. If this is what you want then send email address and i'll send the screen dump....unless its OK to post it here?....too big! (on multiple boxes) The way I see it is 1) Bonicview on a win box which monitors all my systems (using RPC) 2) a simple app I wrote which looks at the xml files directly and displays % done, active project, total credits. In both cases, at the beginning of a phase, it goes back to 0% and climbs to 100% for the phase, not the entire WU. BTW, the systems I see it on are running FC 3 |

So anyone got an ETA on when the precent per phase might be corrected to show percent per work unit for the linux cruncher? I got 2 more linux systems in phase 3, and am realy looking for this fix! |

It's a BOINC problem, so it's up to Berkeley to fix it. And then the project people have to compile a new version of hadsm so that crunchers can see what has been fixed, and what new problems have been created. |

It is fixed in sulphur beta running on BOINC Linux version 4.43. So a new Linux hadsm3 executable will need to be compiled. I know they've worked on a new version of integrated graphics for the Linux client, but I don't know when the next Linux release of hadsm3 will be. |
