My machine gives me a run-time error when I try to run hadsm 4.13. I am not overclocked anymore either -- I\'m at stock speeds. I deleted my 4.12 project, and downloaded a new one. Now I can\'t participate in BOINC at all? Is there a glitch with it, or should I upgrade Boinc beyond the version I have now (4.19)? I was thinking maybe I should uninstall/reinstall BOINC. I have an AMD64 system, 3500+ Matthew <img> |

I think 4.13 is a little more intensive in the way it works, so it is causing small and medium issues. I use 4.45, but I know 4.19 and before were a little weird with Climate. If you could find 4.25 that one also worked awesome with Climate. It may not be bad to upgrade. See if that fixes you issue. <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page"><b>Boinc Wiki</b></a><br> <img src="http://seti.mundayweb.com/stats.php?userID=344&trans=off"> <img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php?userID=584&trans=off"> |

Version 4.13 was created to fix the ATI card problem. It may need to be run with BOINC 4.4* versions. BOINC 4.25 can be found <a href="http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_4.25_windows_intelx86.exe"> here.</a> I've been using it since it first become "current", and have had no problems. It remains to be seen if the 4.13 models will run OK, but I'll find out in a little over 2 weeks when I finish the current models. |

One thing to note in this thread is that the 4.13 cruncher for Windows is very new, while the 4.13 cruncher for Linux has been around for months. The Linux 4.13 has a "quirk" on at least some versions of linux, where percent complete goes from 0 to 100% for each phase - there's whole threads about that one (see http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2884 and http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?p=28511#28511) In a day or so of crunching, I do not see this same quirk in the windows 4.13 version. No crashes either (win 2k, CC 4.45) Might I sugguest that with posts, there's some indication of "which" 4.13 is being discussed? (maybe just W4.13 vs L4.13?) Thanks in advance. |

Good point, azwoody. To start it off, I was talking about W4.13 |

I am referring to the Windows version as well. I have BOINC 4.25 installed now, and I'll see how it works. <img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php?userID=2118&prj=4"> |

Thanks.. While the majority of folks may be windows, this will make it easier for those that are not windows.... |
