I\'ve seen the theads about people losing credits, but I may have been credited with work I haven\'t done. Host 178632 has two results added, one in progress, from Oct 2004 but this computer wasn\'t created until June 2005.

The latest host ID was given credits from any previous merges for other hosts on your account. During the recalculation process to correct credits for misallocated WUs, Carl couldn't track credits from previously merged PCs and associate them with the PCs they were merged into because of a lack of record for those previously merged PCs in the BOINC database. So, they were given to the latest host added to your account. More than likely some other host of yours, that was the result of a merger, lost those credits to your newest host.

Thanks, that makes sense. It didn't seem like I had an increase in total credits. Since I burn them onto CD's once they're done and delete them, I wouldn't know what was moved where. So if you ever need to look at any of my models, the woman who never throws anything away is saving them for you.
