I downloaded my first Climate WU in March, but then my computer was away for repair for 3 months. It finally completed phase 1 a couple of days ago, did its high-disc-usage processing, and started phase 2.
I wish to report that after two minutes Windows 2K Pro reported illegal errors and aborted the program. This then reported home as a computation error. Pity; but we will start again.

Pity that it computed for so long before it errored out. However, glad to see that you're continueing.

Do you have a backup of the BOINC directory? If so, it may be possible to restore this and continue.

If you do get a windows crash message again it may be sensible to try to exit BOINC before clicking 'Don't send'. This will sometimes allow the model to restart from the last checkpoint rather than crashing the model.
