Apologies if this has come up before, but I couldn\'t find it. I have been using my computer for various BOINC and non-BOINC things and as a result I find myself in the position that I am going to miss the 1-year deadline for my current model on CPDN. My question is does this have a bearing on credit or anything? I suspect the model will still continue to trickle and that they would rather I keep plugging away at it until it finishes. Any comments? <IMG SRC="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php?userID=376&prj=4&trans=off"><BR> <A HREF="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_display.php?teamid=1886"><IMG SRC="http://www.fandom.ca/bucket/bcboincrib.png"></A> |

I recently looked at the results of someone who posted with a problem, and most of his models hadn't completed, but no errors. They appeared to have been abandoned. One model abandoned last year had a message "No reply" under the Outcome tab. I thought that I had saved the page for future reference, but I can't find it now. If you are trickling regularly, you may get away with it. And then again ..... You may be the first to test just how fair dinkum this limit really is. |

The deadlines in CPDN are non-binding, so as long as you keep sending back trickles it should be OK. <br><a href="http://www.teampicard.net/"><img src="http://www.teampicard.net/images/picardmini.gif"></a><a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_display.php?teamid=3">Join us here</a> |

Just an update. The deadline has come and gone, the program is still trickling and I'm still getting credit for it, so, all is well. Well, except that my client is in EDF mode still and I won't be getting work from any other project for a while without my intervention, so... AH well. <IMG SRC="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php?userID=376&prj=4&trans=off"><BR> <A HREF="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/team_display.php?teamid=1886"><IMG SRC="http://www.fandom.ca/bucket/bcboincrib.png"></A> |
