in SETI@Home and E@H there are web-pages showing the server status. Is this also available in climateprediction?

No.
There are servers at 3 separate Unis, one of them in Switzerland.
About the only place to see a "status" is at <a href="http://www.boincstats.com/index.php"> BOINCstats,</a> and this didn't show the latest outage, as it wasn't the main server.

Sometimes there is a post in the news, (on the front page), about problems, as at present. But when this server is down, (it's at the Open University), you can't even see this.

There is no such thing over here afaik, but...

On <a href="http://boincprojectstatus.ath.cx/">boincprojectstatus.ath.cx</a> you can look it up most of the time.
