When this machine, http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_host_detail.php?hostid=698, tries to run benchmarks, the wu get\'s removed from memory and stops crunching. I have it set to keep in memory so why is it doing that? BOINC CC 4.45

Because that is what was intended to happen with that version. A long time ago, there were tests for memory speed. Those were take out, but the remove from memory while running benchmarks was not changed.

There is a rumor that the new version due out soon will no longer remove the appllications from memory.

If you mean that CPDN does not start crunching again after the benchmark, then that is a problem with BOINC 4.45 and CPDN. You can use 4.45b downloadable from this thread to get rid of this problem.
