You should make a backup of the whole BOINC folder. If you are currently using version 4.19 of BOINC or earlier you will then need to uninstall the old program using add/remove in Control Panel before you start installing the new OS. It is best to have BOINC somewhere other than the drive where you have your operating system files, so I recommend that you move the BOINC folder to the drive where you will want it in future. When you have finished installing the new operating system, install the latest version of BOINC to the place where you have the existing BOINC folder. It should then continue where you left off. If something goes wrong, that is why you made a backup ;-) |

I found other way, like You said, I backup the BOINC files onto cd-rw, and then I installed new system on the other partition. I did it to check new system at work, and now BOINC working under both of then, no metter, what I\'m doing. regards tm |
