Here\'s a new one, or not, one of my computers has downloaded 4 sulphur run\'s and 4 standard models which are all ready to run..... to go along with the 2 sulphur\'s it\'s already working on. It\'s an OK computer but this is asking a little much. I can go ahead and abort to give them to someone else but does anyone know why the sudden feast of work? |

Very odd. What version of BOINC are you using? The latest is here. You can certainly abort any that you will not be able to run in a reasonable time. |

I checked this morning when I got to work and now I have 6 copies of each..... I\'m using 4.45. I aborted all but 1 extra set of sulphur\'s and I think I\'ll try upgrading again after thanksgiving. |

Given the problems you are currently having, set \"No New work\" on the Projects tab of the BOINC GUI or every time you abort one, it will download another one. |

4.45 has this odd propensity to get more CPDN work than it can process ... :( If 5.x is not an option, you can try 4.72 ... and I usually set my computers to no new work after downloading a S-Cycle for this very reason. |
