I had a WU about 5% done (>77 hours). However, I just noticed that my CPDN work unit is a brand new one. Old one was due 10/2006 this one is 11/2006. Not sure why it did not finish. I am only running LHC and CPDN with 100 share (50% each). The message log did not show anything. I upgraded to 5.2.12 this morning. any ideas? |

If it was this model: sulphur_46a1_000295033_1 running on this computer: 245939 then it had an exit code of 1073807364 (Have a look at the model on your Account page to see this.) This has been occuring a lot over the last 6 months, but the cause hasn\'t been found. It\'s possibly a conflict with a Microsoft program, but could be anything that made your computer a little unstable for a moment. Just put on a brave face and hope it doesn\'t happen again. You could have a read of the following two posts: maintainence, and tests. |

My esperience is that this is a significant problem on OS-X and it seems to be related to starting and stoping the model. The G5 sometimes seems to \"halt\" BOINC to do some network stuff and *IF* CPDN tries to do something interesting at these times, well, it quickly exhausts its retry allowance and errors. All I can think of is to suggest that the retries be \"spaced\" in time, but I am not sure how to force BOINC to go onto the next project if the CPDN model does not start up right. |
