I was running the classic CPDN and now I want to change to BOINC. Do I delete classic or can I delete classic, are there files that I need to save just in case...??

Just finished a model and now I am get an error message every 5 mins that classic can not connect to download another model, which I do not want. I exit the program and it keeps restarting and showes that error message.....

More than likely you installed it to start as a service, and as a service it will restart after awhile if not running. To stop it running as a service, check this FAQ out...

It's nice to save off the archive directories/folders to CD/DVD in case they are needed by the modellers at some future time. I believe these will be deleted from your HD if you uninstall totally.
