I am running CPDN within BOINC 5.2.13 on an AMD XP 2400+ machine (2 GHZ, 512 MB Ram) with Windows XP Home Edition SP 2. I clicked on show graphics. The screen came up fine, but, every few seconds, the display changes as if I am running the same Work Unit twice. (different CPU TIME & TIMESTEPS). What do you make of this? Have you ever seen it before? P.S. Message Tab shows none of this. |

Not sure what the problem is but you do have a problem, your acct shows 74 WUs and most say they are in progress.....I recommend you detach and check your box over for heat, memory or overclocking problems. This link has some helpful hints...UK Nick\'s Hardware Checks BOINC Wiki |

Nope: Those suggestions are not the problem. Are you saying that you think you know what it is? If you do not use the graphics, does it run then? |

I clicked on show graphics. The screen came up fine, but, every few seconds, the display changes as if I am running the same Work Unit twice. (different CPU TIME & TIMESTEPS). When you say the display changes, as if you are running the same WU twice, I\'m not sure what you mean. Perhaps if you could describe this in more detail, we might be able to help. |

Does that help? |

Does that help? Not too much. That sounds like the normal progression (other than the example showing extreme speed). The timesteps increase as the CPU time increases. You are running more than one computer. How does the behavior on the graphics in this one differ from the behavior of the others? |
