project shows 1115.00 hours and no way can meet the downloaded PAST DUE dealine. Is this valid???? Should I abort????

please, look again - it\'s 30 Nov 2006, not 2005.

1115 hours might be right, but BOINC tends to overestimates time-to-complete of jobs. It will take couple of weeks to complete a CPDN model.

Depends on the model downloaded (Sulfur or HADSM), and what other projects you are running, etc.

On my P4 2.8G HT with 2 Sulfur\'s running it estimates about 145 days each (nearly 3500 hours). I am pretty sure it will not take that long, but if it takes that long, so be it.
