Hi! I just reported my first CPDN trickle ... Time Sent (UTC): 02 Jan 2006 16:57:36 Result Name:sulphur_i40q_000845018_0 Phase: 1 Timestep: 10,802 CPU Time (sec): 46,384 (12 Hours and 53 Minutes) Average (sec/TS): 4.2940 And, in th Q&A, I read ... \"Every 10,802 timesteps your model will trickle (report),\" \"you will get credit for each trickle and there are 72 trickles in a model. So you only have to wait for 1/72 of a model.\" \"you will not see credit in your stats until your first trickle, and your credit will increase with each respective trickle.\" Now,... Almost 12 hours past the trickle time and ...still...the stats under My Account is showing 0 credits !?! Did I miss something? Regards, O&O |

Almost 12 hours past the trickle time and ...still...the stats under My Account is showing 0 credits !?! The stats/credits used to be updated frequently, then every 12 hours, now it\'s every 24 hours. This change was due to the huge database bogging down when credits are tabulated too frequently. |

O&O Welcome to ClimetPredictionNet. As said above the credit is applied only one time a day now, a script goes through the database and gives credit to all that came in since the last credit was granted. The time of day verries as to when this is done, and for some reasion it often skips results turned in within the last 2 hours or so prior to the script being run. I have seen some of mine wait for close to 30 hours before being granted credit but they always get it. With just starting now the model will be a Sulpher model, which has 120 tickles rather than the 72 that is on the Q&A page. That page will have to be updated sometime, but they have a lot of things going with a higher priority for now. Looking at your account I see that you have turned in 2 trickles, and have credit for one. Credit for the 2nd well be comming soon. I just turned in trickle #120 for my model an hour ago, but like you have to wait, when I devide the credit given by 119 I get a number close to 160.67 to indicate that I have the credit for 119 trickles. When you get larger number of trickles that is the easiest way to find out how many you have credit for. Cheers Ray Keep on crunching Pizza@Home |
