Because of the different methods that math co-processors use to calculate, I have seen different results from the same data input on different brand computers. Specificily, data predicting orbits of multiple bodies. Has anyone experienced this in climate prediction?

Perhaps http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Why_doesn%27t_the_exact_same_model_work_out_the_same%3F helps.

There is also an interesting link from there to http://mustelid.blogspot.com/2005/10/butterflies-notes-for-post.html
which discusses/did what we were trying to do on the php board in a much much better way.
