I\'m running Windows XP with an Intel HT (hyperthread) chip and have 2 sulpher workunits going. The one unit has sent up 83 trickles and is doing fine. My question/concern is that my second work unit is now showing some bizarre behavior after successfully sending up 23 trickles. What is unit is doing (I suspended all of the other work) to my cursor is flashing it between the ready and busy pointers. Looking at the taskmanager, the second unit is only consuming between 2 and 8 percent of the CPU (instead of the 48 to 50%) and showing the rest of the CPU as System Idle. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to kick this work unit into gear? I\'ve got 340 hours into it and would hate to just orphan it. TIA, William |

Congratulations, you\'ve reached the end of a phase :-) The hourglass stuff is the machine reading loads of stuff from the HD and summarising it so that it can be uploaded back to the project servers. The cpu time is low because it\'s waiting for disk reads. Confused me the first time it happened... I\'m running Windows XP with an Intel HT (hyperthread) chip and have 2 sulpher workunits going. Thanks for the answer. I guess that makes sense. It also took awhile for the progress % to come back William |
