old_user173479 Send message Joined: 14 Mar 06 Posts: 2 Credit: 72,487 RAC: 0	Message 21296 - Posted: 15 Mar 2006, 15:08:29 UTC Last modified: 15 Mar 2006, 15:09:05 UTC I have installed BOINC, attached to the project, included boincmgr.exe and boinc.exe in the exceptions on the firewall but when I try to communicate the status shows communication deferred with a 24 hour countdown. The computer running BOINC connects to the internet via a wireless network, would this make a difference? Or is there something else I should be doing? ID: 21296 · Reply Quote

Thanks, I found the messages and they indicated a disk space problem, I have plenty of free disk space (5.75Gb) but it prompted me to check my preferences in case they conflicted.
