Hello Admins, ********* !ALERT! ********* database of participant data is corrupted. After clicking to \"your account\", data for user BarryAZ are displayed (my account name is Hefto99). I have all his privilegies to manipulate with his account (BarryAZ, don\'t be afraid I won\'t touch your data). I\'m afraid this could be a global problem, not only my local discrepancy. Handle, please, this issue before some individuals could have an idea to abuse or change data belonging to somebody else. Thank you, Best regards, Hefto99 |

I see my own profile when I go to climateprediction.net, but I am having another problem since the fix of the corrupted database. Anytime I try to connect I get the following message: 04/27/06 06:19:23|climateprediction.net|Sending scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi 04/27/06 06:19:23|climateprediction.net|Reason: Requested by user 04/27/06 06:19:23|climateprediction.net|(not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks) 04/27/06 06:19:27|climateprediction.net|Scheduler request succeeded 04/27/06 06:19:27|climateprediction.net|You are using the wrong URL for this project 04/27/06 06:19:27|climateprediction.net|The correct URL is http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/ 04/27/06 06:19:27|climateprediction.net|Detach this project, then reattach to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/ I don\'t want to lose the data on my currently running project...is there any way to detach while keeping my data? |

sorry about that, that\'s what happens when I experiment with caching user pages after working 28 hours straight! |

yeah, \"Thyme Lawn\" & I figured it out, between your updates I guess! :-) It\'s a new boinc feature to validate URL\'s of projects, I guess to prevent \"hijacking.\" |

SO how come I can\'t be anybody else? Whine (smile). Strange stuff -- hopefully this has been cleared up -- if not I guess I\'ll need to revise my settings... BarryAZ should be user of the month, I was him too |

Yesterday, my last Sulphur cycle models finished - last trickle is missing http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=1922605 Could it be related to latest db issue? [not a big deal anyway] <i>phpBB forum for CPDN, all are </i><a href="http://www.climateprediction.net/board">invited</a> |

I see my own profile when I go to climateprediction.net, but I am having another problem since the fix of the corrupted database. Anytime I try to connect I get the following message: I\'m getting the same except it says the correct URL is http://climateprediction.net I hope people aren\'t detaching because of this thinking it\'s another bug otherwise lots of data could be lost. As it happened after a trickle message that succeeded I\'m going to ignore it as I\'m only three trickles into the model. Please don\'t tell me I have to start all over again |

I\'m getting the same except it says the correct URL is http://climateprediction.net just ignore it there will be a fix soon from thyme lawn, or so i was told ;) i have been messing with the xml\'s to try and get rid of this error to no avail, i just keep screwing up the xml\'s and getting errored out this seems to be an issue with the 5.4.X versions of BOINC |

Details for getting the program to fix the project URL (required by BOINC 5.4.*) are here. BOINC 5.4.* will only work if you have projects/climateprediction.net under the directory you installed BOINC to. If you have projects/climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk_cpdnboinc or projects/www.climateprediction.net you\'ll need to run the fix program to prevent BOINC from generating the \'wrong URL\' message every time you contact the CPDN scheduler.
