Are you actually using that computer???

I kept having this problem and now take regular backups of the BOINC folder.

I had a -161 error which manifested at the same time I was viewing a Real Video on the BBC News website.

Someone suggested it might be something to do with graphics card even though I didn\'t have the screensaver graphics running.

I reckon it\'s either that or memory related.....if something hogs the memory or cpu long enough to cause the fatal error.

I suggest you take backups if poss. Suspend the task, exit BOINC and create a backup (I just zip the folder), then restart BOINC and resume the project......2 minutes tops.

Using it \"some\" - the problem is the app won\'t even accually start - it loads, then just sits there.
no cpu time at all.
every other project runs like a racehorse.
