Yep, there is. Tolu knows about it and says the trickle processing is running behind. I\'m not sure whether he\'s restarted it and it\'s catching up, or something else. But they know about the problem. |

cool. thanks very much for that. puts my mind at rest, as i did not know if i had gone and killed it. i did chesk the server status and all was well thats why i thought i would ask. BOINC is still telling me that i am over committed, strange as i am on a dual core opty 165 and currently only have this and bbc climate running on here. stopped all work on this operating system (xp) as i am trying out boinc on VISTA beta 2. Einstein and predictor are o.k. on there so far so as these clear down on here i will switch them over to vista as well. |

still no sign of any movement on this w/u. 16hrs of cpu time left and no credit for 4 days. can they still have an issue? is it only a few people having problems, as some on my team say they are fine? |

I know some people have had credit, although I\'m not one of those. It\'ll all catch up sooner or later, but may be several days more. At least you\'ll get a huge spike in RAC when the trickles come through :-) Tolu is holding the fort on his own since Carl is off on holiday (the reverse of the situation in April when Carl had to deal with the \'killer trickle\' etc when everyone was off on their Easter break!) I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Haven\'t seen credit in days -- since their may be a brewing backlog with the attendent catch up problems once the root caused is taken care of, I\'ve elected to not add to the backlog build up for now by suspending climate on my multi-project systems. Why does the project team not publish a message about this issue and give us some information about when they are able to solve it. It will be very helpful to have a information about known problems and the participants have the feeling that they are not alone in the climate prediction world. Please let us keep in touch!! |

They did. Tolu posted here in Number crunching. And a lot of this sort of discussion goes on in the php forum, which has a better search facility, and a better \'feel\' to it. |

Hi Les Bayliss, What I mean is, that CPND should publish a message to their RSS Feed. Many other project do it when a problem occurs. Than I should not search in different forum and feel \"keep in touch\". Happy Chrunching, Udo |

he does have a point. most other projects would just stick a little snipet in the news column. would help us out a lot and also make their lives easier as it would not be question time on the forums. alright then, there would be the when we will be back up again but not the is there something wrong? p.s. work has now shown up on my account, just waiting now for it to find its way to my client. |

Hi Jaysback, the grafics are up to date for my WU to. But missing credits. I am confident that they comming soon. I will spend the point if there was a message on the RSS Feed for the next serious issue. |

There wasn\'t a message because the only person left at Oxford at the moment didn\'t know that there WAS a problem. Carl posted: there was a renegade trickle that was causing the trickle server to crash. unfortunately I\'m away on holiday and Tolu is overworked so it got overlooked, but it should be OK now and trickles are being processed normally (but the trickle data for the project may be behind a day or two, i.e. the plots). |
