I'm assuming this is for a new version of the client? Mine doesn't respond to most of those. I'm crunching with 4.03. I noticed 4.02 that I was using during beta didn't even have the changing displays for temp, pressure, etc.
---------------------------- A member of The Knights Who Say Ni! BOINC, confusingly, is on 4.05 - you can upgrade that without losing the latest run but I think it is the application version that counts. What OS are you using? |

I did a little more poking around and it seems most of the features are present but bound to different keys. For example, 6 toggles developer names and 7 shows the red political boudaries globe. I can't seem to get the 'death star' view or the green borders. I also seem to have switched to the smooth view on the temperature globe and can't find how to turn it off. None of these things are really big problems, I was just wondering why mine wasn't working according to the orgininal post. Also, I have noticed a few bugs (not sure if they are in windows or CPDN). Wow... ok, I just went back and tested a few things to get more details... this is very strange. Check out these conditions: Winamp running in 'always on top' mode, CPDN window open and partially covered by winamp. If I then hover over the close, minimize or maximize buttons until the tooltip comes up, then the CPDN display goes weird for a few seconds and then refreshes itself back to normal. For a definition of 'weird' check out a screen shot As I said... winamp has to be not only open, but covering at least a pixel or two of the CPDN window (not just the titlebar). I have noticed a few other such small bugs like tool tips not being displayed correctly while CPDN is running. Has anyone else seen this type of behavior? My only theory is that it is somehow butting heads with windows on my GPU (Geforce4 4600) since windows XP uses some hardware acceleration for such things. Not a big problem but just something small I noticed and was curious about.
---------------------------- A member of The Knights Who Say Ni!
