I\'m new to CPDN and was wondering if it\'s normal to get a wu that requires over 2300 hours crunch time?

Yep it is not unusual for a model to take that long.

A trickle is sent up once per model year, and you get credit within the next 24 hours after that trickle. I am running 4 models, depending on the machine I get a trickle every 24-48 hours. Of course each machine is doing 2 other projects. My fastest machine should complete one in 160 days, my slow one 300 days.

Most of the models sent out at the moment a coupled models.

So your model will send up a trickle on the 1/12/each year.

You will be credited with about 226 cobblestone\'s per trickle.

As was stated the program to grant credit only runs once or twice a day, so your credit is not granted immediatly as with some other projects if the quorum is reached.

Don\'t worry about it to much, your credit will be granted.
