Hi all,

I\'ve just upgraded my PC to an Intel 950D dual-core (2 x 3.4GHz with 2Mb L2 cache on each core).
I am confused by my CPU benchmarks though. Specifically for the CPU, if I run SiSoft Sandra, I get benchmarks that are comparable to other, similar CPUs with a Dhrystone score of around 15200 MIPS.

However, in BOIN, if I run the CPU Benchmark facility there, it only shows around 1600 MIPS.

How can that be, that they are out by a factor of ten?

Regards,

Neil.

The boinc benchmark is rubbish, and is ignored by this project. (Also note that you can\'t directly compare MIPS figures since different benchmarks have different definitions).
