My current Sulphur Cycle model is grinding enexorably to completion. When the last one finished, it downloaded a new Sulphur Cycle. I see, however, that there are 3 different \"projects\" now, the Sulphur Cycle, BBC, and Seasonal Attribution. Can I chosse what to do when the current model finishes, or will it just download another Sulphur Cycle wu? Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream. |

Sulpher is over. Coupled model is now the one you get from here, and that\'s even longer than Sulpher. If you want BBC, you need to signed up there. If you want Seasonal, you need to sign up there. They are seperate projects. |

BBC models are the same as here. That project was just created as a part of the BBC\'s program on climate change, to get \"Joe Public\" crunching climate models. |

BBC models are the same as here. I am new to this program and would like to know the following: The faq says it is 3 models: --The slab model --Sulphur cycle (longer than the slab model) --Trancient coupled model (even longer than the sulphur cycle) When I joined, my pc just downloaded a model but I dont know what model. Is it so that the two first are \"out of business\" and only the TCM that we get from now? The name of the model I got is: hadcm3lbm_9pwg_25222739_1 using hadcm3lb version 515 Can anyone pls tell me what model this is and how you can see it. (It\'s going to take 2364 hrs to finish...) And is BBC also using the same model(s) as this program, but under a different name? Thx Have a nice day Steinar1965 |

And another Q while I\'m here: I also partcipate in SETI and Rosetta. I have changed the preferences to a resource-share of --Rosetta 100 --SETI 200 --CPDN 900 After this, it seems my PC stills switch between the project with an interval of 60 minutes. If my PC use the same amount of time on all 3 projects I will not finish the model. Thats why I want the PC to work 75% on CPDN and share the last 25% between the other projects. How do I do this? I have a single processor AMD Duron 1,8 GHz and 1 Gb RAM Thx |

The BBC is running the \'coupled\' model, which is the same one here. The resource share will only have an effect once the PC has queried the project servers, this will happen in \'due course\', or you can force it by pressing \'update\' against the project. When I joined, my pc just downloaded a model but I dont know what model. Yes. The name of the model I got is: That is the transient coupled model. You can tell by the cm in the model name. You can view it by going to the \"Tasks\" tab of the BOINC GUI and clicking on the model name, then clicking on the \"Show graphics\" button. |
