I just finished a Sulphur WU and have too low negative LTD for CPDN project. It\'s value is -1389707 !!! It was preempted regularly with other projects so I think it shouldn\'t to be so low! Really I shall receive the new task only in half a year or later? And whether I should reset LTD value manually? I have BOINC 5.6.3 and 16 projects on one host. |

Leave it for while. The climate models are a long, strenuous run for BOINC, and it needs time \"to get it\'s breath back\". Or, if you like, all of your other projects are now owned time to compensate. In a week or two, BOINC will consider getting another climate model. And the new ones are a lot longer than the older models. |

I disagree because this result was not overcomitted and CPDN should not accumulate so huge value. And this was happened with all previous results I finished and with all previous BOINC versions I used. Every time I reset LTD for CPDN to download a new task. And I think there is a bug with cpu scheduler when it calculates LTD for CPDN. |

This is a known issue on Hyperthreaded CPUs. I am unsure what needs to be fixed, but my HT machines thinks there is no CPDN work, but the debt changes, and time changes, etc. I do not know if it\'s a BOINC or CPDN issue. |

I run climateprediction on a HT computer too. I want it to run on one processor, and use the other processor for the other projects. Sometimes it\'s interrupted when another project causes overcommission. So I gave it a bit less than 50%, about 45%, of the resources, and that works fine. |

Maybe John McLeod VII can answer more exactly where is the problem? ;-) |
