My BOINC is suddenly not showing my climateprediction task anymore - it checks on startup (Computer ID 448972) , downloads preferences, and then loads and starts projects for other groups, never climateprediction.

As to why no more climate models, you\'ll have to look at your BOINC Messages tab.
It may be paying back time owed to other projects.

That is interesting, is it normal to see all those error messages about \'not a JPG file\'? And then all those error messages as it tried to shut down the project?

I see no reference to it trying to download a new project, and on the Project tab it doesn\'t show any status on the project. Since it seems you have extracted everything that can be had, should I just reset the project?

I think what Les is looking for are messages like \'running in earliest-deadline-first mode\', or perhaps something about \'debt\', in the messages tab. This would not necessarily be listed against the climate project.

I\'ve never seen that before. There are frequently \'jpeg\' messages, those are just warnings rather than errors.
