CPDn is runing on one of the cores of the Core Duo and taskmanager is showing 50% CPU usage. The OS is Win XP pro 2002 ver 2002 SP2 Is there a way to get CPDN on the second core as well? I tried to register the project a second time to get a second work package, what is not possible. Thanks for your tips and tricks. |

Did you try to change the number of CPUs in your general preferences ? (On multiprocessors, use at most: 2 processors) Arnaud |

Did you try to change the number of CPUs in your general preferences ? Hi Arnaud, yes I did. It\'s set to \"use at most: 2\". |

Hi, Couple more minor things to check: * Did you click \'update\' against the project so the manager would download the new settings? * Is \'no more work\' set against the project? If so, press \'allow new work\' I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Hi, Hi Mike, yes I did check all of this. When I increased the usable diskspace to 2 GB Boinc started to download a second package and the second core went busy. So the solution is, to increase the disk workspace in a way that BOINC will download at least two work packages to run them at the same time on both cores. Thanks for all the comments. Oliver |
