A \'trickle\' happens at the end of each model year, and it is when the model uploads a summary of it\'s climate to the servers (so the project can track the progress of models even before they finish). It is also when credit is granted (better to grant a small amount of credit on a daily basis, than 41000 credit once every 4 months...!) I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. It\'s just a way of being able to compare how much work you\'ve done on the project with what someone else has done (possibly even on a different project). A bit like matchsticks in a friendly game of poker. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Matthew, there\'s lots of useful information in the \'Running the Model\' README here: http://bbc.cpdn.org/forum_forum.php?id=4 I hope you can see that - it\'s on the special forum for BBC model members. Cpdn news |
