In the past week+, I have attempted new models.
All 4, have come back with 161, comp errors. All of those 4, ran for up to 16+ hrs, then crashed.

My original from May last year ran for 400-450 hrs, then crashed. A system error popped up on screen, not BOINC. Error = \"Visual Fortran runtime error ... Severe (38) error during write. Apparently some data is usable by CPDN.

After my original crashed, I ran Dell Diagnostics. It indicated no problems with my computer.

After running diagnostics, I have tried 4 more models.

But a thing I find interesting is that on 3 out of 4 new models. The other computers running the models have had client errors as well.

Should I keep trying new models? is CPDN having problems? Is there anything else I can check?

Hi,

The \'missing file\' business is misleading, it just means that the model crashed before it reached 2080, and hence the upload files don\'t exist. The real error isn\'t clear from the website, I don\'t see any problems with your PC specs.

Take a look at the \'Crashes and other problems\' thread in the following forum : http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewforum.php?f=36, there may be some ideas about avoiding crashes.
